The exciting thing of studying a foreign language is start a rewarding journey towards other cultures and other worlds, since learning a new language is to enter into an adventure in which the language is the medium that opens all doors of communication. The main objective of education is to transmit basic values for the life in society: respect, rights and fundamental freedoms, tolerance, solidarity that form the future citizen etc. Access to other cultures and customs encourages respect for other countries and therefore to its inhabitants. The teaching of foreign languages (L.E.) doing work in linguistic services in the school is therefore a key element in the construction of the identity of the student so that it forms as a European citizen. My purpose here is to show the importance which raises the teaching of a second foreign language in primary education, not only for the knowledge of other cultures but for a greater and better understanding of our own. In addition the evolution of society and the media communication in recent decades has given rise to that we live in a universal village, encouraging and motivating, thus the language learning and encouraging the registration of professionals in universities around the world.

It is therefore interesting to note that, after entering the l. e. Ingles in the stages of early childhood and primary education, are necessary the fact to continue in the same vein, expanding with the learning of a second language, in this case the French. One of the reasons that supports this idea is that, so that European citizens can it really be, an early learning of languages from the earliest years of life, is seen as necessary so that they can grow in the perspective of a multilingual society becoming professionals in translation of texts and other fields that also provide for lifelong learning of languages as an integral part of a lifestyle strictly European. In this same line, add that, through intensive learning of French, the young Spaniards become familiar with the language and culture of another Member country of the European Community, by multiplying their possibilities in job offers in translation and the College and career mobility and thus acquiring the necessary means to be real citizens of the Europe of tomorrow. It should not be forgotten that the French classes are an important contribution to the strengthening of the ties of friendship and cooperation between Spain and France. All this means that Spanish students enjoy the same opportunities for training that their fellow citizens, and can compete professionally, in the future, on equal terms.
